Who are we?

Ministering the love of Jesus, Pro-Life Ministry (Casa Vietii ) offers education classes and seminars for women and high school kids, family planning, crisis pregnancy counseling, practical care for pregnant girls, and post-abortion counseling.

Pro-life and women in need was started in 1999 by Stephanie and Ilie Duca in a small office in the centre of Sighisoara. In 2001 Casa Vietii was purchased and has undergone much renovation. However the work was taken into the villages and has continued to grow.

Pro-life and women in need became association Casa Vietii Sighiasoara at the beginning of 2008.  We are a   interdominational Christian association dedicated to serving The Lord and to serving others no matter what background, colour or creed.  We are a non-profit organization. All who work for Association Casa Vietii Sighisoara are volunteers.

Our centre offers free pregnancy test, advice on family planning and counseling in every area of family life. We believe that every life, born or unborn is a gift from God that must be treasured. Romania has the highest rate of abortions in Europe. We educate women about the abortion procedure and the damage it does physically, emotionally and spiritually and to offer the ladies other alternatives. We also offer practical help such as baby clothes, pushchairs, medical assistance, baby food, bedding etc.
